Capture Sports Agency
At Capture Sports Agency, I created Draft Reports on players being target for the draft, spoke 1 on 1 with recruits, contacted teams regarding current clients, created the Player Welcome presentation that was used for all recruits, and was asked to lead other interns while being the youngest in the company.
Indiana Football Recruiting Department
After reaching out to many departments across the Indiana University athletic office, the Indiana Football team gave me the best opportunity as a recruiting intern. This allowed me to build relationships with current IU players, help host high school prospects on visits, and see how a culture is built within a Power 5 Football program.
4wrd Sports & Entertainment
At 4wrd Sports, I worked alongside President Jordyn Bontrager to create an outline on how to recruit new players to the company. I was also involved with phone calls with recruits and helped an agent study for the CFL Agent Exam. I spoke with multiple IFL and XFL GMs and coaches regarding clients and even got OL Messiah Buchanan a contract with an IFL team. I scheduled podcast appearances for clients and helped recruit 5 players to the 2020 signing class including 2019 IFL MVP DaQuan Neal.
GSA Agent Academy
I attended Joshua Grady’s Agent Academy in the fall of 2020 and it has been one of the best career choices I have made. Joshua provided transparent content and knowledge. He really opened my eyes on how much this industry has been evolving as a whole. I learned his process on starting Grady Sports Agency and how he represents his clients.
Strategic Athlete Initiatives
At Strategic Athlete Initiatives, I have been given weekly projects on scouting upcoming graduates and current FIBA players. I have also started studying European Basketball and how passports work within different leagues. During peak recruiting season, I was tasked with creating reports on key targets and finding the best contact info for recruits.
KARES Sports Management
I connected with MLBPA Certified Agent Preston Chapman through my podcast. When I reached out regarding an internship, it wasn’t long after we were making it up. The internship on a week to week basis was virtual; with continuous texts and phone calls exchanged between Preston and I. I was able to build trust with Preston early on; as he allowed me to create Pitch Decks for recruits during the last couple weeks of the internship and even allowed me to meet him in person for a recruiting meeting with a potential JUCO client in the 2023 MLB Draft. I am extremely thankful for the opportunity with him and everything he has taught me.
